PPE Inspection & Competency Training Course – Rope Access & Work-at-Height

This 1-day intensive program equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills to inspect, maintain, and ensure the safety compliance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used in rope access, construction, and height-related work.

Learners will gain practical, hands-on experience identifying defects, verifying certification, and documenting inspection records in accordance with MOM, EN, and IRATA standards.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Identify common types of PPE for work-at-height and rope access.
• Perform detailed equipment inspections following manufacturer and EN standards.
• Recognize signs of wear, corrosion, and rejection criteria.
• Complete inspection documentation and maintain PPE registers.
• Apply proper storage and maintenance procedures to extend equipment lifespan.
