Homewood Theatre proudly presents “Working”… our last show of this season! This musical is based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with American workers. “Working” paints a vivid portrait of folks the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the phone operator, the waitress, the millworker, the mason and the housewife, just to name a few. Nominated for six Tony Awards, this musical features songs by Tony Award-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda, as well as favorites by Stephen Schwartz and James Taylor.

"Working" is directed by Carl Dean with Musical Director Michael King!!

Homewood Theatre presents this musical as a nod to the USA’s Semiquincentennial. We proudly celebrate the people who make our country what it is… those people all around us who work to make their corner of the world just a little bit better.
