Newman Brothers was established in 1882 by Alfred Newman and his brother Edwin. Originally brass founders, they predominantly made cabinet furniture until 1894, when the company moved to the present site on Fleet Street and began to specialise in the production of coffin furniture.
The Coffin Works Museum is a unique building located in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham. The Furniture Factory manufactured coffin furnishings for the deceased, providing metal handles, brass nameplates and decorations for their coffins. creating a legacy over the many years servicing ordinary families and even those of a much higher ranking such as Sir Winston Churchill, The Queen Mother and even Princess Diana.
Newman Brothers continued to specialise in this area until, due to competition from abroad and failure to modernise, they were forced out of business and ceased trading in 1998.
Over the years there has been many claims of hauntings at the coffin works, with people stating that they have heard voices, the sound of machinery randomly going off and even shadow figures showing themselves throughout the building.

What is included :-
You will work in smaller and more personal groups.
You’ll take part in a variety of activities such as glass divination, table tipping, seances and ouija boards.
Full use of any equipment such K-ll, trigger objects and ghost meters, REM Pods and much more.
You will have multiple refreshment breaks throughout the evening and a designated smoking and vaping area for those who need it.
A fully trained first aider, first aid kit and certification on display.
Knowledgeable hosts who will be willing answer any questions you have.
