- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 23 Nov, 2025 at 04:00 pm – Sun, 23 Nov, 2025 at 07:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Spare the turkey and enjoy a vegan Thanksgiving with your Birmingham Vegans friends! Come with a potluck dish, and please bring vegan canned food to donate to local families in need this holiday season. RSVP here on Facebook and/or at meetup.com/birmingham-vegans/events/311147682

When the group has collected cans in past years, you guys have turned out with tremendous generosity, so let's do it again. All donations are distributed by Greater Birmingham Ministries.

For the potluck, there are lots of free and easy vegan Thanksgiving recipes available online (Pinterest, YouTube, Google, etc.)-- casseroles, roasts, pumpkin pie, even Tofurky! Feel free to use the comments to share what you are bringing, or surprise us all that day. Just a reminder—vegan means delicious and free of animal products, including meat, fish, fowl, dairy, eggs, honey, etc.

Look for the blue house on the hillside. There is easy parking on the street. Happy ThanksVegan!
