Take a little time out from the Christmas rush and enjoy a cosy, creative sewing session in the g&g studio!

Join us for our Sip n Sew Christmas Stocking Class - a relaxed 3-hour workshop where you’ll learn to sew your very own beautiful Christmas stocking. With a cup of non-alcoholic mulled wine in hand, a mince pie to nibble and unlimited tea and coffee, it’s the perfect way to get into the festive spirit.

Whether you’re making a stocking as a gift or adding a handmade touch to your own festive décor, our expert tutor will guide you step by step. You’ll learn sewing techniques, tips for neat finishes, and how to personalise your stocking with trims, contrasting fabrics or applique.

Come solo for some mindful making time or bring a friend for a festive catch-up - either way, you’ll leave with new skills, a handmade stocking, and plenty of Christmas cheer.

This class is suitable for those who have little or basic sewing machine experience. If you’ve never used a sewing machine before, don’t worry - we’ll start the session with a short introduction on how to use the machine and some basic stitches. Please note, this won’t be as in-depth as our dedicated beginners’ classes.
