Pihakis Restaurant Group (PRG) is proud to support the 2nd Annual Kulture City Birmingham Race which will offer a 13.1-mile route, alongside a 5K route, Saturday, November 22, 2025 in downtown Birmingham, AL. The race will benefit Kulture City, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a global community of awareness, acceptance, and inclusion for those with invisible disabilities and sensory needs. The race will commence adjacent to Railroad Park, and participants will be able to run or walk either the 5K or 13.1-mile route on the course.
KultureCity®, established in 2014 in Birmingham, AL is a dynamic non-profit organization at the forefront of the inclusivity movement that continues to make waves in creating a more accessible and accepting world for individuals with sensory needs and invisible disabilities (found in 1 in 4 of us). In a short 11 years, a few highlights of KultureCity's impact include making over 6000 venues and events sensory-inclusive certified, handing out more than million sensory bags to individuals in need, and saving 48 lives through the KultureCity® First Responder Training. KultureCity's commitment to inclusivity extends beyond physical spaces. The organization actively collaborates with influential figures, businesses, and communities to promote awareness and understanding of invisible disabilities. KultureCity® partners with event industry leaders like the NFL, NBA, MLB, and FIFA to make their flagship events sensory-inclusive. With ongoing initiatives, partnerships, and a passionate community of supporters, KultureCity® is set to leave an enduring impact on the landscape of inclusivity.
