School business leaders' conference 2018


The School business leaders' conference aims to:

Help school business leaders own their profession and feel empowered in their role
Allow SBLs to network with their colleagues and build their support network
Provide SBLs with role-specific CPD training and to develop their leadership skills

Now in its third year, the School business leaders' conference 2018 will feature keynote speakers Paul Whiteman, NAHT General Secretary, Stephen Morales, Chief Executive ISBL, David Hyner, Researcher and Tony Foot, Director of the Education Funding Group at the Department for Education. Delegates can also attend three workshops throughout the day, catered specifically for the needs of school business leaders. There will be a chance to submit questions for Tony Foot ahead of the conference. We will also hear how "SMART goals don't work" from speaker David Hyner.

SBL evening networking gathering, Monday 18th June, 2000 - 2200

All delegates are invited to attend a networking gathering* organised by the SBL Council members. We encourage you to come along and meet other SBLs in an informal setting. Please RSVP within the booking form.
*Please note that food and beverages are to be paid for by delegates.
Accommodation
On Monday 18 June we have a limited number of rooms available at preferential rates via our booking agency. To book and pay for these rooms, please phone Review Travel on 01625 446288. Rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The NAHT has the right to cancel the conference if insufficient bookings are received. The NAHT also reserves the right to change the venue prior to the scheduled date, and in this event will communicate any alterations as soon as possible.

Do I need my membership number to book?
Yes. If you are booking a member place you will be required to enter their membership number. You can find your membership number by phoning membership on 0300 3030333 option 2.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Is my booking transferrable?
Bookings may only be transferred at the discretion of the Professional Development team. These will need to be made in writing to ZXZlbnRzIHwgbmFodCAhIG9yZyAhIHVr before the event. Transfers and cancellations may be subject to a charge.
Cancellation fees:
Within 20 working days - 25% charge
Within 10 working days - 50% charge
Within 5 working days - 75% charge
Within 2 working days - 100% charge
Can I update my registration information?
Any updates to your booking must be made in writing to the Professional Development team at ZXZlbnRzIHwgbmFodCAhIG9yZyAhIHVr
Does the name on the booking need to match the delegate?
The names of each individual delegate must be entered during the booking process along with a unique email address for each delegate as this will be used for the final confirmation.
