- **Event Description**: Join the Friends of Handsworth Park on Saturday the 12th of September for a Ranger Service led event to discover what creatures live within the park. We will use the iNaturalist app along with sweep nets to record our finds on a walkabout through the park.

No equipment is necessary to join in with the activity, but a smartphone and the iNaturalist app will help us record our finds if you’re able to use them. Don’t worry if you haven’t used the app before we’ll be here to guide you through it.

The event begins at 2pm and runs until 4.30pm this includes going out to survey and then trying to identify what we have found at the end. The start and finish for the event is at the Sons of Rest Building where refreshments will be available.

This event is suitable for all ages and abilities, please wear suitable footwear and weather appropriate clothing. Toilets for this event are available as well.
