What to Expect?
Speakers - Over 50 experts to choose from during the event
Our speakers are hand-picked for expertise, experience, and notability. They all have something to offer and share with our audience. Speakers have included Andy Street, Conservatives choice for Lord Mayor of West Midlands. Google, Ben Kench Best Selling Author 'Selling for Dummies', Rebecca Jeffery, BBC1's The Apprentice and David Guake Secretary of State for Justice. The exhibition hall has up to 100 expert exhibitor suppliers to choose from. Each exhibitor offers visitors the opportunity to find new suppliers to help them grow. We aim to have two exhibitors where possible giving you the choice to pick the right expert for your business.
The show runs business panels covering education, Banking, Finance, Funding, HR, Recruitment, Hospitality, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, International Trade, Pitch Business Ideas, Technology, Innovation, Hospitality, Retail, Women in Business, Education and Training to help businesses understand how to grow through the essentials needed to run a business today.
We have brought together some of the UK’s best entrepreneurs to help share their knowledge with you so you can learn from mistakes and successes. This section is not to be missed as learning from others and their failures and successes can help you overcome the current crises with coronavirus.
The show will host the famous Sergeant Major speed networking throughout the day. These sessions are fast and furious and you will need your cards ready and move on time. For those who know the sergeant major, you will know he is renowned for his whistleblowing and beret.
Business Lunch & Networking
The VIP Lunch and Networking is situated at the heart of the show allowing VIP visitors & exhibitor guests to catch up with each over a cup of a drink and a light bite to eat. The areas is a great way to mingle and bump into business and gain new contacts whilst catching with old.
Throughout the show, there will be a chance to network with delegates in the two major exhibition halls. The areas are a great place to bump into business and gain new contacts whilst catching up on old. For those who don't have a VIP ticket, they can buy a sandwich from the networking cafe.
Visitors will have the chance to connect to businesses through our networking zones. These include Networking Sessions, Women In Business Networking Area, Networking Cafe. Each area is facilitated by networking experts and we use Linkedin to connect businesses on the day so need for delegate lists.
Business Advice Clinics
Gain over 100 hours of free business advice by booking a 121 with our business advisors. Advisors will offer a 15-minute session for businesses to seat with an expert and ask them questions on issues affecting their business. Advice clinics cover legal, HR, Marketing, Sales, Technology and much more
The Business Growth Network offers hybrid events and members and visitors will be able to use their laptops to join in during the show and across the UK to join businesses online and virtually network with each other. This will be the largest hybrid event in the county.
Visitors will be able to attend the BIG Breakfast before the exhibition and conference opens to the general public at 9 am. This is a paid part of the show and allows visitors to attend the breakfast from 7am - 9am to join in our structured but fun meetings to help them meet, connect and grow with BGN members and visitors. Each meeting will give delegates the chance to introduce themselves over 45 second round, here from our speaker and set up 1-2-1 meetings for after the breakfast.
The Big Lunch
Visitors will be able to book in advance for the BIG Lunch. This is a paid part of the show and allows visitors to network and get involved in our networking lunch. Our lunch meetings are structured, but fun and are geared to help businesses meet, connect and grow with BGN members and visitors. Each meeting will give delegates the chance to introduce themselves over 45 second round, here from our speaker and set up 1-2-1 meetings for after the meeting.
Please note that the show is a trade-only event, no under 18s or students will be allowed into the event. Any visitors found selling to exhibitors or to other visitors will be required to leave. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or to insist that any visitor leaves the exhibition for any reason.
