Naloxone Training at ROSS
The Jefferson County Health Department will be having a Narcan training at 6:30pm at ROSS at 716 37th Street South Birmingham, Alabama 35222 on Monday June 24th. Free Narcan kits will be given to everyone who attends the training. Naloxone is a Medic*tion designed to rapidly reverse opioid overdose. Being trained to use Narcan can save someone’s life and prevent an opioid overdose. Please come out to learn how to be properly trained in administering this life saving Medic*tion and help to fight this opioid epidemic.
* A supply of Narcan provided by the Alabama Department of Mental Health will be available for people from Alabama counties other than Jefferson County.
