Professional development for teachers in all phases
In the morning you will learn about effective identification of more able learners: how to recognise them, what sources of evidence to use and how this is recorded and communicated.
In the afternoon we will cover what provision works for more able provision that promotes their progress, motivation and enjoyment based on the evidence. You will get to try activities that provide challenge for these learners and start to incorporate these in your planning.
Our professional development workshops are active and evidence-based. This session will be led by Senior Education Consultant, Rebecca Howell.
Past participants of this workshop have said:
“There was a good range of practical ideas to use in class.”
“I learnt so much about more able learners, how they think and how I can cater for them in the classroom.”
“Great tools to help aid planning for this group of learners. Thought-provoking questions as examples that could be used to structure planned challenge questions.”
Early bird rate £95 (+ VAT) per participant until 30th April 2019. Price includes refreshments and lunch.
