How to Teach Writing in Early Years

This training day explores how children develop the physical, cognitive and emotional skills they need for writing. We’ll unpick what writing actually is, not just the mechanics of mark making, but also the thinking, feeling and communicating that sits beneath it. Together, we’ll consider how to create an environment and a curriculum that nurture confident writers who see writing as purposeful, enjoyable and achievable.
