Healing Scents

Step into the Mediterranean House and be welcomed by the scent of an edible perfume, inspired by a historical herbal remedy.

Drop in and create your own healing remedy rooted in history, with artist Kaye Winwood and researcher Jieling Xiao. Reflect on the wisdom of witchcraft, the erasure and stigmatisation of knowledge, and your own cultural traditions.

This event is co-designed by Jieling Xiao (Birmingham City University), Kaye Winwood (Gulp), Stephanie Singer (Bittersuite) and Birmingham Botanical Gardens as part of the Being Human Festival.
