Over the last six years the program has had the unintentional habit of changing its structure, focus, process and student-workload from year to year. We aim to create space to re-model – and question – what graphic design pedagogy might be. Through meet-ups, events, talks and conferences, we are interested in responding to the social, cultural, political, and ecological conditions impacting design-based teaching and learning environments.GDEN is also a network of social support, in-between (and beyond) institutions, to facilitate openness, connection and conversation. We aim to be responsive to our collective experiences, in order to advocate for best practice: in our subject and for our – and students’ – wellbeing.
