This event combines fun, informal networking with meaningful academic exchange.Through a relaxed “academic speed dating” format, blending elements of the 3-Minute Thesis, participants will be paired up to share their research. You will then introduce your partner’s work to the wider group, creating an interactive and supportive space to learn about each other’s projects.Whether you are looking to expand your network, build confidence discussing your research, or simply meet fellow Black PGRs, this is a welcoming environment to connect with others navigating the PhD journey.The Black PGR Network is committed to fostering an inclusive, vibrant community where members can build lasting connections and support one another.Food and drinks will be provided.Who Can Attend?This event is open to postgraduate researchers who self-identify as Black from all disciplines at the University, including but not limited to those of African, Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, and Black mixed-heritage backgrounds.
