Bamboo Unboxed Workshop, Sumatra 2026

Inside the lush tropical forests of Sumatra, the workshop is a collaboration between Giant Grass and Orangutan Haven. It will be guided by world-class bamboo architects, you’ll master geometry-driven design and build something real with your own hands. The workshop is based on the principles identified in the book ‘Bamboo Architecture Unboxed’ by Jörg Stamm and Munir Vahanvati.
