Learn the basics of working with polymer clay with Ruth Roa, a polymer Artist recently featured in Roberson’s 2025 Regional Art Exhibition. Students will work with Roa to create a polymer wreath to take home along with all the tools and skills needed to continue working in the medium at home.
***This workshop is for participants 13 years of age and older due to the working with heat and knives***
All required materials are provided to keep after the completion of the workshop so you can continue your polymer creation journey! If you would like to add depth to your miniatures, you may purchase and bring chalk/semi-hard pastels. These are NOT required; just optional.
All students will receive:
Full set of sculpting tools-including Exacto knife
Full basic color set of polymer clay
Small oven safe silicone work mat
Miniature set of polymer cookie cutters
