Psychedelic soul meets poetic punk with KidBess & The Magic Ring, a boundary pushing five piece from upstate New York led by multi talented songwriter and former pro basketball player Bess Greenberg. With a voice that channels Grace Slick and Janis Joplin, Greenberg’s raw, blues-drenched vocals cut through lush sonic landscapes built by a powerhouse lineup: Jeff McAuley (cello), Joe Alston (guitar), Mike Amadeo (bass), and Moses Valle (drums).
Drawing inspiration from a spectrum of songwriters, and global traditions, the band blends psychedelic rock, folk, and experimental textures into an intoxicating, emotional experience.
