Wreath Laying Ceremony

Wreath Laying Ceremony – Sat, 7 Dec, 1100 – ARRIVE EARLY FOR PARKING! This event usually has the biggest turn out and folks come from across the community. Parking fills up extremely quick. Since the ceremony will be taking place in the field attendees will typically utilize VA parking lots for additional parking as you will not be able to park along the field as you can during the prep. This event is not as organized for the volunteers/participants. I will message in the group chat where I will be, but I encourage you to bring family and friends as a group to come to lay the wreaths. There will be an official ceremony to start at 11 with a couple of speakers and they will release attendees to grab wreaths from the middle area and begin laying them throughout the cemetery. The officials will announce a specific area in the cemetery that wreaths will not be laid as those sections will be reserved for the National Wreaths Across America Event.
