Provider isolation is real and it takes a toll. Many of us spend so much time caring for others that we forget how vital connection is for our own well-being.
The Yellowstone County Mental Health Alliance exists to change that. Our monthly meetups are a space to connect with peers, learn together, and be reminded that you’re not in this work alone.
Join us on December 10th at noon for lunch, community, and an inspiring talk by MarCee Farrar-Neary with the Crisis Center.
Her presentation is titled:
"Meeting People in Their Darkest Moments: The Mission of the Community Crisis Center"
Location: The Billings Community Foundation at 404 N. 30th
CCC saw a problem...
Individuals in our community in need of immediate crisis support were falling through the cracks. They were finding themselves in the Emergency Department or in law enforcement-related interactions. While these services are essential, we needed another option with a greater long-term impact to these immediate needs for this community. Through community partnership with Billings Clinic, St. Vincent's Healthcare, The Mental Health Center, and Riverstone Health the Community Crisis Center was born. With an open door 24 hours a day and a commitment of empathy and hope the Community Crisis Center exists to serve people in vulnerable places. We are the tangible support for any member of our community in need of crisis intervention.
