Choral Classics

The Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Steven Hart, honors the 75th anniversary by presenting beloved choruses from George Frideric Handel’s Messiah—a Billings favorite since its first appearance on the Chorale’s inaugural concert. Short works from the rich history of choral classics round out the program, including Lovesong Waltzes by Johannes Brahms, Even When He is Silent by Kim Andre Arnesen, Renaissance motets, and a spiritual arrangement by Moses Hogan.
