Following on from the first part of XJ40@40 in Coventry, I am proud to say that working with the amazing Madeleine Hillebrand of the JEC Germany, the second and final event will be taking place in Billerbeck, Germany. This event is to acknowledge and celebrate the international XJ40's and bring together our friends from outside the U.K. Attendees from the U.K. are of course welcome to join in the fun too. The itinerary is as follows;
Friday 18th September 2026:
Friday is arrival day where you will check in to the hotel in the afternoon, relax, get a drink, enjoy the facilities. We have arranged to stay at the Hotel Weissenberg, the hub of our activities:

For the evening, there is going to be a buffet – the price of this will be 45.00 Euros per person (£39.00 GBP). This night will also include a couple of welcome speeches, introductions, and then we will enjoy drinks at the bar, make new friends, and get ready for the main day tomorrow.
Saturday 19th Septemeber 2026:
The main day. Following Breakfast, the attending cars will set off on pre-approved routes to meet up at certain locations at certain times. This is being planned very carefully due to the convoy limit laws in Germany, but we will ensure that everyone is safe and compliant of the requirements.
08:00 - Breakfast
10:00 - Driving route, to enjoy your car and the surrounds of the region we are staying in
12:00 - Lunch at Diepenbrock Castle
14:00 - Driving route continuation
15:00 - Coffee and enjoyment of what is an astounding large private collection of British cars, including Jaguar's. I visited here a couple of months ago and was amazing at what was contained here, and I know you will love it. They are opening up just for us!
18:00 - Speeches at the Hotel
20:00 - 3 course dinner - which we will circulate the menu options to you so you can choose and pre-order. We have ensured that all dietary requirements are catered for.
The Saturday evening will be a bit more formal and will include more speeches. The dining consists of a 3-course meal, of which I will circulate the menus for soon, and ask people to pre-order. This will guarantee you get what you want and will help the kitchen out for buying in and preparation. The price for this 3-course meal will also be 45 Euros per person (£39.00) - which is a very good deal these days! Food prices also include bottled table water each night.
Sunday 20th September 2026:
Breakfast, final photos, say goodbyes and then for attendees to either travel home, or to continue on and have a longer holiday – the choice is yours!
Having stayed at this hotel in September 2025 on my Germany road trip, and I can say that you will definitely have a wonderful time. This event will be enjoyed by you and your family/children and is the perfect chance to celebrate the international XJ40 family. We will have safe parking together on the hotel grounds, and for those bringing cars needing extra security, there will be garage space available. It’s also a great start off location to a wider holiday if you are coming from far away with your family.

• Double Occupancy: 150.00 Euros per night (£130.00 GBP)
To help me keep a handle on the 50 rooms we have negotiated for allocation, the discounts secured etc. I will be asking people to book through myself, and I will do all the booking for you.
