BATS (Biggleswade Arts and Theatre Society) welcomes you to Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at the BIGG Theatre in a bold, high-energy production set in a post-apocalyptic Illyria that feels anything but lifeless.

After losing her twin in a shipwreck, Viola lands in unfamiliar territory and makes a quick decision to disguise herself. It doesn’t take long before she’s caught in a love triangle between Orsino and Olivia, and things spiral into a tangle of misplaced love, crossed wires, and blatantly bad judgement.

This is a fast-moving, immersive take on one of Shakespeare’s funniest plays.

Twelfth Night by BATS (Biggleswade Arts & Theatre Society) runs from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th June 2026 at the BIGG Theatre, 36 High St, Biggleswade SG18 0JL. Performances take place each evening, with an additional matinee on Saturday. Recommended for ages 12+ due to mature themes.
