We are delighted to announce a new event for 2026. 'Biggin Hill at Nightfall' a premier warbird photography session at the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar, hosted by Uk's leading aviation photographer Darren Harbar.
The event will include an introductory talk from Darren, an industry professional with years of experience within the aviation photography sector, with his work featured in many aviation magazines including the Flypast, aeroplane monthly and many more! Receive advice and guidance from Darren throughout the session, with small group numbers this will allow more time for photographs and a chance to chat with Darren.
The event will follow on with a talk session with our Spitfire Pilots and engineers. Then an opportunity to photograph re-enactors in front of our warbirds for static photographs re-creating scenes of the 1940s. At half time guests will receive complimentary hot drinks and buffet style food.
Following on you'll be able to photograph our restoration projects up-close with the use of colourful lighting, capture the internal structure of a Supermarine Spitfire and through photographing images, understand what goes into restoring these iconic war machines.
Concluding the event with a Warbird night-shoot consisting of a Spitfire, Mustang and Buchon. With the use of illuminated lighting and dramatic backdrops, capture the yellow circle from the tips of the propeller blades, as well as flames spitting from the exhaust.
This promises to be a fantastic session, no matter the skillset. This event is open to everybody. We have limited availability, and the event is to run from 3pm to 7pm. Book Now!
