We met at softball in 2021 and it’s only fitting that we run a pretty sweet tournament to give back to the sport we love, share a day with all of you, and also help us out with some of these wedding costs!

We’re going to be running a draft-style, individual player, fundraising slowpitch softball tournament to fund a solid wedding reception!(party)

Next year we will run this tournament again and donate proceeds to a solid cause… suggestions welcome please!

Details:
Teams will be composed of 7 guys and 5 girls
All 12 batters are required to be in the lineup

Teams will have to take it upon themselves to vote on a team captain after draft.

Cannot bat 3 guys in a row

4 females in the field at a time mandatory(any positions)

No 5 man IF

Coed OF line enforced for all batters

Capping it off at 10 teams @ 12 players per team
70 Men and 50 Women(will adjust format and amount of teams if needed)

Round robin then single elimination tournament 

1-1 count, no grace 

6’-12’arc - plate and mat for strike and to score
1 courtesy runner per gender per inning(any rostered player)

Pitcher gets a free courtesy runner as well

Walk rules:
Guy will take 2nd base with girl following
Girl has option to walk with 2 outs only

HR rules:
1 HR per inning, then outs

Cost $50 per player
Includes:
-4 game guarantee 
-Shirts for the team you are drafted to
-12 Rings for winning team

Optional:
HR bracelet - $20 per player (non-transferable)
- no limit for HR bracelets per team

Registration deadline will be Sept 5
Need name, # and size for jersey/shirt order
Please list primary and secondary positions

Must be paid to be added to the roster and draft universe.

Random draw and tournament schedule will be posted Saturday, Sept 12

HR derby at Vogel 2 starting at noon. Will end when round robin games are complete
$10 entry 
10 swings(not 10 pitches, not 10 outs) 
no practice swings
Cash prizes for first and second place
