The Catskill 6 Traverse

Registeration Required. A demanding 12-mile bushwhack that links six trailless peaks in one epic push. Starting from Moonhaw Road, we’ll head off-trail to tag the rugged summits of Friday, Balsam Cap, Rocky, Lone, Table, and Peekamoose—a legendary challenge for Catskill peakbaggers. Thick forest, steep scrambles, and minimal herd paths make this route one of the toughest in the range. The day finishes with a descent on the Table–Peekamoose Trail to the trailhead. A car shuttle will be required.
