This year's line-up merrier than ever, and features a medley of talented entertainers from Los Angeles and beloved local performers. Attendees will enjoy interactive games and contests.

This year's show will be emceed by Danny Jordan and Eric Petersen, hosts of the #1 Christmas podcast in the world Christmas Countdown. Danny and Eric will be counting down their favorite things about Christmas, as well as hosting games and contests, so make sure to wear your ugliest Christmas sweater and practice your jolliest laugh for a chance to win a prize! ⁠Follow them on Instagram (@christmascountdownshow) to participate in live audience polls during the show.

The Mountain Marvelettes will return to sing all your favorite Christmas classics, but this year, they will be joined by legendary local pianist and California Music Hall of Fame Inductee Mike Cross. ⁠

The City Council will be joined by Santa and Mrs. Claus to countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree, followed by a festive set by Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra, a Los Angeles based big band who has performed and recorded with world renown artists, including Michael Bublé, Brian Setzer, and Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band. They will be performing songs from their Christmas album “Bluebeat Holiday”, as well as a selection of their original music.⁠

What to expect:

4:30 PM: Emcees open the ceremony, host games and contests
5:00 PM: The Mountain Marvelettes⁠ perform with special guest Mike Cross
5:55 PM: Santa Claus & the City Council⁠ take the stage, followed by the Tree Lighting
6:00 PM: Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra performs 
7:00 PM: Ceremony concludes⁠

Stick around afterwards to visit “The Big Guy” and Mrs. Claus for a fun photo op immediately following the tree lighting until 9:30 PM.

Pine Knot Avenue between Cameron Drive and Pedder Road, Village Drive between Bartlett Road and Stocker Road, and Cameron Drive between the rear entrance of Village Sports Bar and Pine Knot Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic for this event, and there will be no parking in these areas. We encourage attendees to park in the Bartlett, Knickerbocker, Pennsylvania, Cottage and Indian Village free public parking lots, or consider taking a free ride on Mountain Transit Red, Blue or Gold Lines. There is a bus stop conveniently located at the Knickerbocker Parking Lot, which is located near the cross streets of Knickerbocker Road and Village Drive.
