Big Bear Hike Weekend 1: May 1-3 (hike on Saturday May 2). 
Big Bear Hike Weekend 2: May 15-17 (hike on Saturday May 16).

The Trailblaze Challenge provides participants an opportunity for adventure, fun, and fitness while making a direct impact on the lives of children in our community battling critical illnesses. The hike caters to all fitness levels, from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts. If you crave adventure, love the outdoors, and welcome a challenge, then this is the experience for you!

Through the Trailblaze Challenge, you will train for the 28-mile trek, meet new people, and make a difference in the lives of local children battling critical illnesses by raising funds to support Make-A-Wish® San Diego. Join the challenge in 2026!

How to Get Started?
All potential participants must attend an info session prior to registering as a participant hiker. Alumni hikers do not need to attend an info session. To register, visit trailblazechallengesd.org and click the "RSVP for Info Session" to secure your spot today! In-person and virtual sessions are available.
