The story: When Nora Helmer shockingly walked out on her husband and three young children to live a life that was hers and hers alone, (the storyline of the original "A Doll's House") they thought they'd never see her again. Now, 15 years later, she shows up out of the blue.

Why is Nora back? What does she want? And what does it mean for those she left behind? These and many other queries are raised in this new play, written by Lucas Hnath in 2017, nearly 140 years after Henrik Ibsen's original. (That's a long time to wait for Season Two after such a huge cliffhanger!)

"A Doll's House, Part 2" is a 1 hour 40 minute one-act play that is presented without intermission. You DO NOT need to know the original to enjoy this stand-alone play! It caused a sensation on Broadway in 2017, garnering Tony nominations for everyone in the entire cast, the playwright, and the director. 

Starring Beth Miller as Nora Helmer, Jim Himebaugh as Torvald Helmer, Sydney Mingori as their daughter Emmy, and Laura Taylor as Anne Marie, the nanny.

Tickets are $15 and available at stage-m.org. The show runs April 10, 11, 12 at 7:30 and April 13 at 2:30 at Crossroads Charter Academy in Big Rapids. Tickets (CASH ONLY) also available at the door one hour before curtain.
