A band characterised by an international line-up and an unusual variety of instruments will perform at North Devon Jazz Club in The Beaver, Appledore on 20th April. Named the Transatlantic Hot Club the band will be made up of harpist Ben Creighton Griffiths, bassist Ashley John Long  ( both from Wales),  violinist/vocalist Adrien Chevalier from New York and accordionist Jeremy Lohier from Corsica.

The band will play an exciting mix of swing classics, Django Reinhardt/Stephane Grappelli standards, Corsican song and Latin Bossa Nova. The gig starts at 8.30 p.m. and entry will be free (but there will be a collection for the band during the evening). For a meal booking phone The Beaver on 01237 474822.
