- **Event Description**: As we move towards the Summer Solstice — a season associated with warmth, expansion and outward energy — this edition of Pin & Pilates will explore movement, connection and the energetic qualities associated with the Heart.

Drawing gentle inspiration from Traditional Chinese Medicine, we’ll introduce the Heart meridian — an energetic pathway linked with circulation, openness, expression, vitality and joy. In many traditions, the Heart is seen not only as a physical centre, but also as something deeply connected to spirit, playfulness, connection and emotional warmth.

Through movement, seasonal reflection and acupuncture-inspired themes, we’ll explore how energy moves from the inner body outward into space. Together we’ll work with ideas of softening, expansion, responsiveness and finding ease within motion.

Alongside this, we’ll touch upon the body’s connective pathways through the chest, ribs, shoulders and arms — exploring how we breathe, spiral, reach and communicate through the body.

Expect an uplifting and spacious morning woven with movement, storytelling, summer musings, play and moments of restoration — an opportunity to reconnect with joy, sensation and the liveliness of the season. The workshop will close with a restorative group acupuncture session.
