Join us on 13th June at The Relais Cooden Beach Hotel & Spa for a special Charity Quiz Night raising money for Alzheimer’s Society ahead of an incredible Sahara Desert Trek taking place in October 2026.

Alex from our restaurant team, alongside his mum Claire and family friend Linsey, will be trekking approximately 100km across the Sahara Desert over 5 days in memory of Alex’s Grandpa, who sadly lost his battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

The hotel has kindly donated the event space free of charge, meaning proceeds and donations can go directly towards supporting dementia research, care and awareness.
