- **Event Description**: This tour of the Cummings Center and the history of the United Shoe Machinery Company picks up where our tour last month left off and will cover the remainder of the first floor of the 100 Building and will also venture into the Medical Center building for 5 stops.

A general overview and review of the first tour will be offered as an introduction but then various topics such as immigration, the life of a USMC worker and life after “the Shoe” will be discussed. We will be walking outside between Building 100 and the Medical Center in February so please be aware of potential weather conditions. Meet at the corner of the former Acapulco’s Restaurant.
