Voices of Hope presents CURTAINS which is a bright, funny, and suspenseful musical comedy that combines the sparkle of classic Broadway with the intrigue of a whodunit. Featuring a lively Golden Age–inspired score by John Kander and Fred Ebb and a sharply crafted book by Rupert Holmes, the story unfolds at Boston’s Colonial Theatre in 1959 during the chaotic opening night of a new musical. When the talent-challenged leading lady mysteriously dies onstage, the production is thrown into turmoil and the entire company becomes a lineup of suspects. Lieutenant Cioffi, a charming detective with an unexpected passion for musical theatre, arrives to unravel the mystery while also offering theatrical notes of his own. With rich comedic roles, an engaging ensemble, and a backstage setting brimming with personality, CURTAINS delivers a delightful mix of laughter, suspense, and pure theatrical fun.

Voices of Hope is a not-for-profit community of artists who raise funds for cancer research thru theatrical performance, and has been bringing its powerful and moving performances to NSMT since 2013 when JC Superstar was its first NSMT production. Now in its 16th season, Voices of Hope has donated more than one million dollars, contributing to the ever-growing source of treatment options that continue to give hope to their vision of a cancer free world.
