In this hands-on canning class, participants will learn the science behind safe food preservation, including how acidity, heat, and time prevent spoilage and foodborne illness. The class will cover proper techniques for both boiling water canning and pressure canning, with guidance on which foods require each method. Participants will leave with the knowledge and confidence to safely preserve fruits, vegetables, and other foods at home.
