You will be discovering films created by independent filmmakers, from emerging talent and first time directors to experienced creatives developing their next project. Independent cinema is where filmmakers take risks, experiment with ideas, develop their own voice and hone their craft. It is often where exciting new talent is discovered and where fresh ideas begin before finding their way into the wider industry. That also means our programme covers a wide range of horror. Come expecting independent film, come ready to discover something new, and you might just find your next favourite filmmaker before everyone else does. πŸ† 2026 AWARDS AND AUDIENCE VOTING Our 2026 programme features nominated films competing across the Glowflare Horror Film Festival Awards, celebrating achievements both in front of and behind the camera. Every paying audience member will also have the opportunity to vote across several Audience Award categories, with the winning awards presented to filmmakers on Sunday evening after the final film.
