⛰ Mountain Skills – Take Your Hillwalking Further
Ready to step beyond the hills and into the mountains?
Mountain Skills is a practical two-day course for walkers who want to build confidence, navigation skills and decision-making while walking on bigger mountains and more challenging terrain.
Over two days you will:
-- Learn map reading and navigation from the ground up
-- Build confidence on steeper, rougher ground, including occasional easy scrambling
-- Develop better judgement around route choice, weather and conditions
-- Gain the experience to plan and enjoy your own mountain days
This course is ideal if you’re comfortable spending a full day on the hill and are ready for a step up in scale and terrain. Courese are held in the Lake District.
