Paranormal Experience at the Historic Sayre Mansion in Downtown Bethlehem
Join Wyoming Valley Ghost Tours on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 for a one-of-a-kind overnight investigation at the elegant and haunted Sayre Mansion. This historic estate, built in 1858 by Robert Sayre, has long been known for its restless spirits and unexplained phenomena.
The evening begins with a brief historic tour of the mansion, setting the stage for what’s to come. Guests will then enjoy a dinner prepared by Chef Karen Hunter in the Asa Packer Room. A cash bar will be available.
Following dinner, the WVGT team will guide you through investigative techniques and demonstrate professional-grade paranormal equipment. Guests will then take part in a guided overnight investigation of the mansion’s most active areas as well as independent investigating in their own small groups, rotating through rooms and hot spots at designated times throughout the night.
Paranormal Hot Spots Include:
• Robert Sayre’s Suite – The first-floor office space where Mr. Sayre once worked, still intact since its 1898 addition.
• Room 23 – The former lady of the house’s suite, where mirrors have reflected mysterious female figures.
• Room 32 – The third-floor hot spot where shadowy figures, tugging sheets, and icy cold spots have been frequently reported.
• Basement & Wine Cellar – Explore the original wine cellar and foundation level of the 1898 addition, an area steeped in energy and atmosphere.
