Improv comedy is created on the spot, based off audience suggestions at the top of the show. After talking to the audience, performers will turn the inspiration they got from the audience into a one-of-a-kind performance that has never been seen before and will never be seen again! This show features three of ArtsQuest’s regularly featured teams, Cobra, Synced Up, and We’re Good, You’re Great.
Cobra
During a COBRA comedy show, there's a laugh every 11 seconds, a gasp every 65 seconds, a scream every 25 seconds and a synchronized dance every 60 minutes. Carved from chaos and shaped by extreme excellence, COBRA is an improv team like no other. Normalcy is the disease and we are the cure. We are COBRA and we strike fast! HISSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Synced Up
Join Cindy Marsh, Erica Sylvester, Sam Beedle, Tami Cantilina, Danielle Tampier, Christy Devlin, and Addyson Teal for an Improv Extravaganza. We want to hear all about what drama is happening in your life, and we’ll share some stories about our own too; combining it all together to bring you a one of a kind improvised comedic experience.
"Synced Up" has been performing Improv at SteelStacks and beyond since 2017. Their combined comedy experience includes classes and shows at SteelStacks, UCB theater NYC, and Magnet Theater NYC. You can also catch them in other SteelStacks shows such as “Tami Tonight”, “Dear Diary”, “Improvised Standup”, "The Mister Sisters", "2021 Christmas City Follies with Touchstone Theatre”, and more.
We’re Good, You’re Great
With over 10+ years performing together – Matt Candio and Evan Stutts bring back their show, “We’re Good, You’re Great.” This comedy act is a quick witted, fully improvised show focusing on the humor found through a labyrinth of characters and comedic situations.
This show will contain adult language and/or situations. Seating will be assigned by ArtsQuest staff upon arrival into the showroom. Anyone coming in between the ages of 13 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No child 12 or under will be admitted. All performers and staff must adhere to our codes of conduct.
