What Is Squeegee Art?
Squeegee art is a bold, fluid painting technique where acrylic paint is pulled across the canvas with a squeegee instead of traditional brushes. As the paint glides and blends, it creates organic layers, soft gradients, and beautiful abstract patterns. No two pulls are ever the same, and that sense of surprise is part of the fun.
What Is Mark Making?
Mark making is all about adding personality and texture to your artwork. Using scrapers, brushes, stencils, found objects, and anything else that sparks your curiosity, you’ll experiment with creating lines, shapes, and gestures that add depth and meaning to your piece. It’s intuitive and expressive, and it invites you to follow your own artistic instincts.
What to Expect
We’ll start with a relaxed demonstration so you can see how paint consistency, tool pressure, and movement influence your results. After that, the time is yours. You’ll be able to explore at your own pace, experiment with different tools, build layers, and see where the process takes you. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, with plenty of encouragement, space to play, and full access to our coffee bar whenever you need a refill or creative boost.

Workshop is 2 1/2 hours. All supplies are provided. Adults 18+ unless otherwise noted.

Parking
On street meter parking is available on Elizabeth Ave. Free on street parking is available on Chelsea Ave. Free lot parking is located behind the building.
Locating the Studio
We suggest entering the building from Ruch St. entrance (the back of the building). Use the elevator directly inside the building to the right. This is the only elevator that will take you to the 4th floor. If you enter the building from Elizabeth Ave, and take the elevator in the hallway, please note that the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor.
* A note about Sunday Classes - the Ruch St. (rear of building) entrance is closed on Sunday's. Please enter through the E. Elizabeth St entrance.*
