Elegance and Styling Through Proprioception Class

The class is primarily for salsa follows who want longevity in their dancing and to dance with fluid, controlled, precise movements. I will teach how to improve proprioception - the awareness of your body moving in the space around you, which is essential to becoming a beautiful expressive dancer.

Through drilling goal oriented, multiplanar, moving sequences utilizing principles in Pilates, joint strengthening exercises and various somatic methods to enhance awareness of sensation of movements you can refine the proprioceptive sense for greater quality of movement and expressiveness.

Keva Price is a nationally certified Pilates Instructor and has been a Physical Therapist for 25 years. Her life long love of dance and passion for physical well being has led her to create this class for social dancers.
