It's the greatest yearly event that celebrates Metro, Drinks and Fun!
The premise is simple, we start in the day Bethesda and head down the Red Line and Crawl as far as we can, stopping at each stop for a drink or two..or three as the day goes on.
We will skip Woodley as per usual because there isn't squat there to do.
We'll start the day at The Barking Dog for pitchers and cans, then on to Lia's for some Tall Beers, and weird out people that are having brunch. Those poor randos are always so suprised...
Then onto Guapos at Tenley for Beers or Margaritas (or both) and always a second option for those that wish to not bug people eating their lunches.
Next, our mandatory pit stop for drinks at the liquor store at Van Ness.
We then head to Nanny O'Briens at Cleveland Park, as noted above, completely bypass Woodley and then it's The Admiral at Dupont, and Recessions at Farragut North and then who knows?!
As we have done in the past, we'll be having a commemorative hoody made with a fun color and even better theme! Marty will be creating the design and you'll be loving.
The cost for the hoody is $30 (a marvelous deal) and if you would like one, please include your size in your RSVP.
For the day of, I would suggest putting a one day metro pass on your Smartrip.
That's it, hope to see you on the 7th for what is sure to be another kick ass event!
