ALL WELCOME!

The Christmas Lighted Boat Parade is hosted by the San Joaquin Yacht Club (SJYC). We have been holding this parade for at least 28+ years. But it is also a community event and many locals participate.
Winners are chosen by the public, viewing the parade from The Rusty Porthole and Sugar Barge.
Santa arrives at SJYC at 4:30pm and hands out wrapped gifts (brought by the parents for their children present). Dinner is served at 5pm for those staying to enjoy the parade from SJYC.
Boats leave the docks at 5:30pm and head North under the Bethel Island bridge, along Taylor Slough and around the island. We all end up back at SJYC for awards and FUN.
Many islanders have family and friends over that evening. They hang out on their docks and cheer us on, as we idle by. 
Thanks go to ALL of the Bethel Island and surrounding Communities for their participation and support.
