During the event, 100% of tips collected at Bob Sykes BBQ will be donated to the Lawson State Foundation to support student scholarships, emergency assistance and academic enrichment programs. 

The partnership brings together two long-standing community institutions with a shared commitment to education and opportunity. Student ambassadors and Lawson State Foundation board members will be on site throughout the day to assist guests, share information about the Foundation’s work, and thank patrons for their support.

Bob Sykes BBQ, known statewide for its award-winning ribs and deep local roots, invites the community to come out, dine in and give back.

Community members, alumni, and supporters are encouraged to participate and help make a meaningful impact on the lives of Lawson State students.
