We are excited to bring you the FIRST annual J-Hawk Wrestling Foundation golf outing. The J-Hawk Wrestling Foundation golf outing is a way to promote our program, build our wrestling community, and to improve the financial situation of our program. The success of our fundraising venture will greatly impact ALL ages and genders of the Urbandale wrestling community. The creation of our program foundation will put us on par with other clubs throughout the state that are able to provide funds to better the overall experience of everyone in the wrestling program. Through our fundraising efforts, we will look to provide, but not limit, ourselves to the following:
- Subsidized athletes who have committed to our program and choose to participate in Urbandale Wrestling sponsored camps, clinics, competitions, and more.
- Add additional staff to all levels of our program. We have an elite and knowledgeable staff, but adding more coaches to work with athletes of all ages allows for more attention for more athletes, which improves their overall experience.
- Bringing in Elite wrestling clinicians for our athletes, of all ages, to learn about the greatest sport, increase technical knowledge, and improve their skills.
We have a saying in Urbandale Wrestling, "No Average Bears," which is built upon the core principles of Energy, Focus, Consistency, and Belief. By supporting the J-Hawk Wrestling Foundation whether through sponsorship or registering to golf, YOU bring energy to our wrestling community. YOUR support allows us to focus on key areas of growth needed to better the experience in our program for ALL J-Hawk wrestlers. By leveling the playing field with other community clubs, we are working to build a consistent product that athletes, parents, and the community can expect year in and year out.
