An introduction to your nursing courses for both flexible and face-to-face students.  You will mix with your peers and become familiar with your program by meeting academic teaching staff for each course.  The teacher will then guide you through the appropriate Moodle sites, briefly outline the course expectations and assessment tasks as well as discuss inherent and professional placement behaviour standards.

Online study etiquette


This session will introduce you to the clinical, laboratory and online learning spaces. It will include discussion around student code of conduct, responsibilities and expectations, on-line study etiquette as well as laboratory requirements and learning experiences.  You will be shown how to engage with your class and academic teaching staff through the use of Moodle discussion forum and virtual classrooms in the computer lab as well as orientation to the nursing and science labs.  (continued next page)

Gaining a thorough understanding of Moodle is particularly vital for those students studying via flexible delivery.

**It would be beneficial to bring your own Laptop/Tablet to this session**
