THEM LIGHTS
TEXTUR>ES is designed as an immersive exploration of the microcosm of matter, crossing the boundaries between contemporary art and music to explore the interplay between material, sound, and image. At its core lies the subtle choreography of metallic particles and the fluid dynamics of ferrofluid — a universe usually hidden from the naked eye.
Through macro cinematography, brought to life via projection and mapping, Sacha Hanlet and Sergio Manique, with occasional collaborations from acclaimed videographer David Laplant and video-mapping designer Petrit Jung, reveal the fleeting, hypnotic beauty of these materials as they interact, transform, and evolve.
This visual narrative unfolds alongside a musical journey by THEM LIGHTS, crafting a soundscape that feels at once futuristic and deeply organic. The result is a sensory experience where every shimmering particle and every shifting droplet echoes the resonant pulse of synthesized sound.
