Be immersed in grounding, healing tones.About this EventIn a nutshell: This event is held at Wildfire Arts Center in Berthoud, CO.Through guided visualization and immersive sound — rain, thunder, wind, waves, and more — you are gently surrounded by steady, grounding tones. The monochord encourages deep relaxation. Singing bowls anchor and balance. The low, sustained vibrations of a 32” gong invite your body to soften and release tension. Koshi chimes nurture and Peruvian seed rattles ground.This is not about pushing through or processing. It is about pausing. Resting. Letting your nervous system remember what calm feels like.About Sound Journeys: Many call it a sound bath, but these sessions are JOURNEYS because they truly take you to another place within your mind, heart, body and spirit. Using a very fluid and layered approach with a wide variety of instruments, this sound journey opens you to a space of relaxation, reflection and growth.Sound journeys bathe or massage our bodies, minds and spirits with healing sounds. This can help our noisy "monkey minds" get quiet as we shift to a Theta brainwave state from our usual Beta and Alpha states. This is where we relax deeply and experience peace and healing on a cellular level. Some people report physical, emotional, mental or spiritual shifts, such as pain relief, improved sleep, sense of clarity, calm, release of tension, feeling revitalized and much more.What to expect: One of my clients call it a "mind massage." Come with an open mind and heart. Be ready to deeply relax and connect with a deeper part of yourself. This journey will be infused with guided visualization with poetic word to assist in supporting a meditative experience.Leave refreshed and renewed.Please bring: a thick yoga mat (or even better is a outdoor chaise lounger mattress or camping mat), or a zero gravity chair if you need to sit. If laying down, also bring a blanket and any pillows or cushions you may want to be comfortable laying down. I will have eye pillows and a limited number of bolsters. Be aware that it's a hard wood floor. Let me know in advance if you need me to bring a mat or floor chair.Need to know: Please do not wear any perfumes or cologne to this event, as some may be allergic. Dress comfortably. Please arrive about 10 minutes before the start time to prepare for the experience. Understand that late arrivals will not be admitted once the sound journey has begun, out of respect for the group's experience. If the door is closed, please do not knock and disturb the session.If you have any medical conditions that may be negatively impacted by sound or vibrations, please consult your health care professional before signing up. These may include pregnancy (first trimester), sound-induced epilepsy, or mental health diagnoses that may be triggered by certain types of sounds.Open to adults and mature youth 8 and older. She has also been an educator for 28 years and additionally, is now a Spiritual Director in training.
