Why Friday?
Weekends can fill up fast, so we’re giving players a chance to compete for their Regional Championship invite on a Friday night without sacrificing weekend plans. Win your invite, get your games in, and still have the rest of the weekend free. Whether you’re pushing for the next level or just enjoy competitive Modern, this event is for you.

Date: Friday, April 24th
Start Time: 6:30 PM (decklists due by 6:20 PM)
Entry Fee: $55
Location: The Bearded Dragon, 121 Claremont Road, Bernardsville, NJ
Format: Modern
Player Cap: 32 players

Tournament Structure
The event will run Swiss rounds with a cut to elimination based on attendance.
• With 16 or fewer players, we’ll run an extra Swiss round and cut to Top 4, with prizes still awarded through Top 8.
• With more than 16 players, the event will run five Swiss rounds followed by a cut to Top 8.

Prize Support
Based on 32 players. Final prize structure may adjust slightly based on attendance.

1st & 2nd Place: $250 cash travel stipend, Regional Championship qualification, and a Foil Sowing Mycospawn promo
3rd & 4th Place: $100 store credit
5th–8th Place: $75 store credit
Top 8 Players: Two regular Sowing Mycospawn promo cards and a Top 8 pin
All Participants: Two Ancient Stirrings promo cards

Due to a production delay, stores this season will not be receiving lanyards and pins.

Tournament Procedures
Decklists must be submitted by 6:20 PM, either by email to TheBeardedDragonGames@gmail.com
 or in person. Late decklists may receive penalties, and the most recent submission will be considered final.

Round One pairings will be posted at 6:30 PM sharp. All players must be seated, have submitted a decklist, and be joined in the Companion app. The Companion code will be sent via email prior to the event. Players who have not joined before Round One will receive a Round One match loss but may be added for Round Two.

Registration
Pre-registration is required and can be completed at tinyurl.com/TBDevents.

Registration closes Friday, April 24th at noon. There will be no in-person registration on the night of the event.

An information packet will be emailed to all preregistered players a few days before the event.
