It is the time of year when we are called, more than ever to be thankful.
As Robin Wall Kimmerer puts it:
“We are showered every day with the gifts of the Earth, gifts we have neither earned nor paid for: air to breathe, nurturing rain, black soil, berries and honeybees, the tree that became this page, a bag of rice, and the exuberance of a field of goldenrod and asters at full bloom.”
and
“Thriving is possible only if you have nurtured strong bonds with your community.”
With that spirit in mind, we have good news: our UU Saturday is just one week away!
When & What:
1) Chalice Circle: We’ll have a service on Gratitude at 11 am in the Church room of the Haus of Religionen (Europaplaz)
2) We’ll have our annual business meeting over Eritrean brunch at that Haus of Religion at 12:30 (please confirm if you are coming so I adjust the reservation)

3) We’ll lead the neighborhood in a spiral dance as part of the light festival:

For the service please bring a poem that inspires you. This may be our last service of our year of poetry - we shall see if we continue! (2026 plans are to be decided in our business meeting - come with your ideas and calendar).
